We are always on the look out for new ways to keep you all happy and in this search we stumbled across this little beauty next October 8th and 9th.

We think this is perhaps one of the best obstacle type events we have seen – no silly electrics or other such nonsense – just the actual assault course used by the Royal Marines Commando’s as part of their basic training 🙂 The best part is it is a charity ran event so proceeds actually go to help others rather than line big corporate pockets!!

There are 3 choices – a 4km ‘cheerfulness‘ one, a 10km ‘courage‘ one and a 17km ‘determination‘ one.  We will let you deicide which you’d like to have a go at but we do think this would be a fantastic challenge for next year.

In return for your commitment to having a go at this we will design a fully bespoke training programme based on your current fitness abilities, time restraints and which choice of event you decide to do.  In the spirit of this being a charity event we obviously won’t charge anything for this – come on – think how proud of yourself you will be after completing a course designed to test recruits undertaking arguably one of the toughest military selection processes in the world!  We will get you tough, fit and 100% ready for this challenge – it will take a little hard work and determination on your part but we think it will be worth it!

More to the point civilians can only ever take part in this course via this challenge so you will be one of a much smaller group of people that have completed it – the event itself is also capped to prevent long delays and queues.

The event is in Devon so we will be looking into the logistics of this as and when we have a better idea of numbers but in the past we have used a coach to get everyone there – perhaps this time an overnight stay might be in order 🙂

To find out more check out their Facebook page here or contact us using the form below – we truly believe ANYONE can take part in this with the right amount of training – plenty of time
