We have decided on a date for our charity Hero Day – it will be on the 26th September and will run all day here at the centre.  For those of you that are not up to speed on what it is we have put together a sort of ‘challenge’ day to give you guys something to really get your teeth into and at the same time raise some money for the BBC’s Children in Need appeal. Charity ‘Hero Day’

As our more avid fans will know we are big advocates of all round fitness over more one dimensional stuff – that includes a VERY wide spectrum of different fitness ‘skills‘ that we think actually tie in pretty well with what an action hero / superhero would need to have in order to be awesome!

With that in mind and as we are always looking for new ways to help challenge you we came up with the idea of something we’ve nicknamed ‘Hero Day’ – in a nut shell a day to test how much of a hero you are!

What’s it all about?

Unmask your superhero!

Wonderwoman npc

What defines a superhero?  Other than the fact they tend to have some remarkable ‘super’ power (duh – you think? lol) they also very often have a meek and unassuming alter ego that allows them to live out a more ‘normal’ part of their lives.

We want to help you unleash that superhero, butt kicking version of yourself and will be starting a series of training programmes designed to bring out your alter ego – the culmination of this being a special 1 day charity event being held at the end of the summer!  We won’t be saying too much just now but to be in with a chance of winning some great prizes and help a worthy charity get in touch with us to arrange your free superhero training programme 🙂
